Adrian was a Rifleman of the 2nd Battalion The Rifles he was killed when his Jackal patrol vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device in Helmand Province near Sangin.
A statement from his family has been released: "Adrian was our son best mate our hero, the light of our lives has gone out and never to be replaced."

You lived in KIRKBY, I in SUTTON,we both attended Field Mill.
I never knew you but wish that I had,I am sure we would have been great mates.
